Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 layer) cake mix
1/4 c. margarine, softened
1 egg, beaten
3 eggs
1 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Set aside 2/3 cup of yellow cake mix.
Combine remaining cake mix, margarine and beaten egg.
Stir by hand until mixture is crumbly.
Press the mixture evenly over the bottom and pinch up sides of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
