Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. soda
pinch of salt
Preparation

Cream oleo and oil together.
Beat in sugar.
Add beaten egg, then vanilla and sifted dry ingredients.
Chill one hour.
Make into small balls and press with fork.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 350\u00b0 oven for about 12 minutes.
Chopped pecans can be added.
