Pineapple Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vanilla wafer crust
    1 can Carnation cream, cooled in freezer
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
    1 pkg. any flavor jello (lime or strawberry is best)
    a couple drops of appropriate food coloring (if desired)
Preparation
    Beat the egg and sugar well.
    Add juice.
    Let come to boil 1 minute or longer.
    Pour over jello and mix.
    Let cool until thickened but not fully set.
    Whip cream until thick.
    Fold in jello mixture.
    Pour into 10-inch wafer crust.
    Chill and store in freezer.
    Let set out a few minutes before cutting.
