Ingredients

1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
8 oz. chopped dates (1 c.)
1 c. pecans
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt butter and sugar.
Add eggs and dates in skillet; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
Remove from heat.
Add nuts, Rice Krispies and vanilla.
Butter hands; roll into balls, then roll balls in powdered sugar or coconut.
