Easy Crab Imperial - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. backfin crabmeat
    3 slices fresh bread
    1 c. mayo (can be nonfat)
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 hard-boiled egg (optional)
    2 green onions
    1 Tbsp. fresh green pepper (optional)
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    lemon juice
    salt and pepper
    Ritz crackers
Preparation
    Saute the green pepper and onions.
    Mix all ingredients, except crackers and crabmeat, then add crabmeat.
    Put into greased casserole or individual serving shells.
    Top with mashed Ritz crackers and butter or margarine.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1/2 hour, until lightly browned.
    Broil for about 1 to 2 minutes.
