Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Sugar
    2/3 c. Milk
    7 oz. Unsweetened Chocolate or 1/2 c. Cocoa
    2 tbsp. Corn Syrup
    1/8 tsp. Salt
    2 tbsp. Butter or Margarine
    1 tsp. Vanilla
Preparation
    Butter 9 x 9 x 3 inch pan.
    Heat sugar, milk, chocolate, corn syrup and salt in a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and sugar is dissolved.
    Cook stirring occasionally to 234\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat and add margarine.
    Cool without stirring to 120\u00b0 (bottom of pan will be lukewarm).
    Add vanilla, beat constantly with wooden spoon until candy is thick and no longer glossy, about 5-10 minutes.
    Mixture will hold its shape when dropped from spoon. Quickly stir in and spread into loaf pan.
    Cut into 1 inch squares.
