Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    5 qt. popcorn (approximately)
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients in microwave on High, about 2 minutes; stir.
    Bring to boiling; cook 3 minutes.
    Take out and add soda. Pour over popcorn in double grocery bag and shake.
    Close loosely. Cook on High 1 minute.
    Shake bag; cook 1 minute.
    Shake; cook 60 seconds.
    Shake; cook 30 seconds.
    Done.
    You may add nuts and other goodies if you like.
    Cooking time may vary depending on microwave.
    Yields 10 servings.
