Old Fashion Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter thoroughly.
    Add sugar a little at a time; cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time; beat well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt three times.
    Add flour mixture a little at a time and mix thoroughly.
    Add flavoring.
    Chill dough. Roll dough very thin and cut in desired shape.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 6 to 10 minutes or until slightly browned.
