Mrs. English'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks margarine (Parkay)
2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 c. sugar plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract (pure)
1/2 tsp. vanilla or rum extract
5 eggs
Preparation

Cream margarine thoroughly; add sugar in 3 or 4 parts, and beat a little after each addition.
Add flavor and mix well.
Sift flour, measure and then sift 3 times.
To creamed mixture, add flour alternately with one egg at a time, beating after each addition.
(Begin and end with flour.)
Bake in tube pan which has been greased and floured.
Bake at 300\u00b0 or 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
