Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef
2 1/2 c. canned kidney or pinto beans
2 to 2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
2 tsp. sugar
2 to 4 tsp. chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
-
Brown onion in fat.
Add meat and cook slowly, stirring occasionally.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer until meat is tender and flavors are blended, about 40 minutes.
