Barbecued Lima Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dried lima beans
4 c. water
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. catsup
2/3 c. dark Karo
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
6 drops Tabasco sauce
Preparation

Wash and soak beans in cold water overnight; rinse and drain. Add 4 cups water and chopped onion.
Bring to a boil and cover; reduce heat and simmer until just tender (about 45 to 60 minutes). Combine other ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Stir into beans.
Pour into large casserole or small roaster and bake, uncovered, in 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 oven for several hours.
