Ingredients

6 tart apples, cored and sliced
1/2 c. margarine
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
vanilla ice cream
Preparation

Fill a 10-inch pie pan with apple slices. In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add flour and spices.
Mix well.
Cover apples with mixture.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream.
