Poached Salmon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large salmon steaks
    1 c. dry white wine
    1 large lemon
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat deep fry pan.
    Put salmon in middle.
    Pour wine and lemon over the top.
    Cut butter into thin pats and place on top of steaks.
    Place lid on pan and cook 10 to 12 minutes for each inch of thickness.
    Lift steaks occasionally to make sure they don't stick.
    Fish is done when you can pull center bone away with no problem.
    Yields 2 servings.
