Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. All-Bran cereal
    5 c. whole wheat flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. honey
    1 c. shortening (I use oil)
    4 eggs, beaten well
    1 qt. buttermilk
    4 c. Grape-Nuts
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over
    All-Bran; let stand until cool.
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt (put aside).
    Cream sugar, honey and shortening.
    Add eggs.
    Blend in buttermilk, Grape-Nuts and All-Bran mixture.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Store in gallon jar in refrigerator.
    It will keep up to 6 weeks.
