Potato Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 lb. raw potatoes
    salt
    1 small onion, grated
    2 eggs
    1 oz. plain flour
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Peel, wash and grate the potatoes very fine. Mix the grated onion, eggs, flour and pinch of salt.
    Add potatoes and mix well. Add oil to skillet and get hot. Drop mixture in by spoonful and flatten with fork. Fry on both sides until brown and crisp. Add more oil as needed. Serve with applesauce and lentil soup for a German flavor.
