Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening (part butter)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Stir together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; blend in. Form in 1 inch balls. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Yields 6 dozen cookies.
