Fried Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash and cut tomatoes in 1/2-inch slices.
    Dredge thickly with flour.
    Fry quickly in oil, browning on both sides.
    Remove to serving plate and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
