Sharon'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions
    1 lb. bacon
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
    5 lb. potatoes
    3 cans chicken broth
    1 large can evaporated milk
    cornstarch
Preparation
    Chop onions and saute for 1 hour.
    Brown bacon until crisp; crumble.
    Shred cheese and set aside.
    Cube potatoes, boil and drain.
    Add chicken broth to potatoes.
    Add milk and onions.
    Heat to boiling.
    Thicken with cornstarch.
    Add bacon and cheese. Enjoy!
