Daffodil Delight - cooking recipe

1 pkg. Duncan Hines butter cake mix
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. milk
1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
10 oz. Cool Whip
crushed nuts
Preparation

Bake cake in oblong pan according to box directions.
Cool. Cream the cream cheese at room temperature with 1/2 cup milk until smooth.
In different bowl, mix vanilla pudding, but use 1 1/2 cups milk.
Then mix cream cheese and pudding together and spoon over cooled cake.
Drain crushed pineapple and spread on top of pudding and cream cheese mix.
Spread Cool Whip on top of pineapple. Sprinkle crushed nuts on top and refrigerate.
