Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. uncooked corn
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    salt
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Sift flour.
    Combine all ingredients, except the egg whites.
    Stir mixture until smooth.
    Beat egg whites until they form peaks; fold this into mixture.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil (Wesson, sunflower, etc.).
    Cook until golden brown; turn for even graining on both sides.
    Drain on paper towel. Serve hot with or without syrup of your choice.
