Texas Meatballs And Rice(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
    1 large onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
    1 large green pepper
    3/4 c. uncooked instant rice
Preparation
    Mix ground beef, egg, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    Shape into 1 1/2 to 2-inch balls.
    Place into 2-quart casserole. Microwave on High until meatballs are set and lose their pink color.
    About 4 to 7 minutes.
    Rearrange after 1/2 the cooking time.
    Drain.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, cover.
    Microwave on High until bubbly, about 4 to 7 minutes.
    Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
