Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 oz.) pkg. cake mix
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla or chocolate pudding
    2 (16 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
    4 bananas, sliced
    1 container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare pudding.
    Crumble cooled, baked cake into glass bowl. Layer half of cake crumbs and top with half of pie filling, pudding, drained pineapple, bananas and Cool Whip.
    Repeat layers. Chill overnight.
