Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. pastry flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter
1 egg
3 Tbsp. milk or cream

Preparation

Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter.
Mix egg and milk; add to other ingredients.
Knead for a few minutes. Put in well buttered 8-inch pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Serve with lots of strawberries.
