Keepsake Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk or cream
    1 1/2 c. butter or Crisco
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    enough flour to make stiff dough
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Knead into dough.
    Shape or cut into biscuits.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
    Recipe from the 1890's. Biscuits will keep 1 to 2 weeks and travel well.
