Trumpet Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies (undrained)
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can hominy, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can whole corn, drained
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1 (15 oz.) can chili beans (undrained)
Preparation
    In a skillet, brown meat and onion; drain.
    Stir in tomatoes, chilies, hominy, corn and beans.
    Season with salt and pepper.
