Old Fashion Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 sticks butter, softened room temperature
2 1/2 c. sugar
9 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. lemon flavoring and vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter until fluffy; add sugar gradually.
Add eggs, 1 at a time; blend well.
Gradually add flour, cream of tartar and flavorings; mix well.
Don't overbeat.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
