Hot Dog Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion
2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. sugar
28 oz. ketchup
28 oz. water
salt and pepper
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 small head cabbage, chopped fine
Preparation

Brown meat and onion in skillet.
Drain well.
Put into large kettle and add all other ingredients.
Cook over medium heat until reduced to thick puree and cabbage is tender and cooked into the meat sauce.
Stores in fridge and freezes well.
