Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 green peppers (fresh or frozen)
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. black pepper (if desired)
    2 c. whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Cut stem ends from pepper and remove seeds.
    Put peppers in boiling water and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
    Remove from water and drain.
    Melt shortening in heavy skillet.
    Add ground beef, onion, chopped pepper, corn, salt and black pepper with mixture.
    Place in baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
