Divinity Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Cook water, syrup and sugar until it spins a thread when dropped from a spoon.
Beat egg whites until stiff with salt.
Add cooked syrup slowly while beating.
Add vanilla and beat until mixture thickens.
Add pecans and beat by hand until mixture loses its glossy look.
Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper.
