Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 orange
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. cranberries, cut in half
    water
Preparation
    Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, soda and salt together. Put in measuring cup the juice and grated rind of orange, melted shortening and boiling water, enough to make 3/4 cup of liquid. Add egg and mix with dry ingredients. Do
    not beat too much. Add chopped nuts and cranberries. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. Keep 24 hours before serving.
