Veal, Prosciutto And Parmesan Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 minced onion
    1 lb. ground veal
    2 Tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. dried currants
    1/4 c. minced fresh parsley
    1/4 grated nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1/4 lb. Prosciutto, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. pine nuts, toasted lightly
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    50 wonton wrappers
    1 egg and 1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until softened.
    Add the veal; cook for 3 minutes, or until veal is no longer pink.
    Transfer mixture to a bowl with a slotted spoon and add the Prosciutto, Parmesan, pine nuts, currants and spices with salt and pepper to taste.
    Wrap in wontons and seal with a wash of one egg and 1 tablespoon water. Deep fry in vegetable oil.
    Makes 50.
