Green Enchilada Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chiles
    1 c. sour cream
    1 lb. Longhorn or Monterey Jack cheese or combination of both
    12 corn tortillas
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Brown onions and garlic in bacon drippings.
    Add tomatoes and green chiles and cook until thick.
    Add 1 cup sour cream and grated cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
    Soften tortillas for a few seconds in hot oil and drain.
    In a casserole dish, alternate tortillas and sauce.
    Bake 30 minutes.
    Garnish with dabs of sour cream before serving.
