Maryland Crab Imperial - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can fresh crabmeat
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks
    red pepper
Preparation
    Mix together flour, mustard, salt and red pepper.
    Melt butter; add dry ingredients and 1/2 cup milk.
    Let come to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
    Beat egg yolks until light.
    Add 1/2 cup milk.
    Add this mixture to sauce and continue to cook (slowly) for another 5 minutes.
    Add 2 tablespoons sherry, if desired.
    Combine crab and sauce thoroughly.
    Serve in shells.
    Serves 4 people.
