Honey-Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. honey
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    2 c. quick-cooking or regular oats
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix sugar, shortening, eggs and honey. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about two inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
    Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
    Makes about five dozen cookies.
