Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. hot water
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
