Cheesy Beefy Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornmeal
    1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 can cream-style corn
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 c. Cheddar cheese
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 to 4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Sprinkle 1 tablespoon cornmeal in bottom of a well-greased skillet.
    Cook over medium heat until cornmeal is lightly browned. Set skillet aside.
    Combine cornmeal, salt and soda.
    Add milk, corn, eggs and oil.
    Mix well.
    Pour half of batter in skillet. Sprinkle cheese, onion, peppers and ground beef which has already been cooked.
    Top with remaining batter.
    Bake 50 to 55 minutes at 350\u00b0.
