Autumn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (28 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. diced carrot
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced peeled potato
    1 c. diced peeled rutabaga
    1 bay leaf
    1/8 tsp. basil
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Puree tomatoes in a blender; set aside. In a skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Discard bay leaf. Serves 10.
