Carrot Cake With Cream Cheese Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour (all-purpose)
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    4 eggs
    3 c. grated carrots
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, soda, salt and cinnamon; stir in oil.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add carrots, nuts and vanilla, mixing thoroughly.
    Pour into a floured and greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch cake pan.
    (May also be made into a layered cake.) Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Cool in pan.
    Spread with Cream Cheese Icing.
