Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, cubed
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    1/2 c. water
    1 small can mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Put cubed beef in casserole dish.
    It is not necessary to brown beef first.
    Mix soup, water, onion soup mix and mushrooms; pour over uncooked beef.
    Cover; bake for 3 hours at 300\u00b0.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
    May be made 1 day ahead and reheated.
