Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 c. all purpose flour
    4 to 6 green tomatoes, sliced 1/2 inch thick
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Combine sugar and flour and spread on shallow plate; dip both sides of each tomato into mixture.
    Combine egg and milk; dip each tomato slice into liquid mixture.
    Dip each tomato slice into dry bread crumbs.
    Fry in the oil until brown on each side.
