Oatmeal Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo, melted
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, Karo, vanilla and eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add oleo and beat again.
    Stir in oats.
    Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie crust. You may sprinkle chopped nuts over the top, if you wish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 or 50 minutes, or until done.
    (Center of pie will seem firm.)
    Also freezes well.
