Light Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    5 large eggs
    1 1/3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 lb. crystallized cherries
    1 lb. crystallized pineapple
    4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and butter.
    Add the beaten eggs and flour. Add the remaining ingredients.
    Cook slow (275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0) for about 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 hours in a tube pan.
