Pineapple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. margarine, melted
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    2 vanilla instant pudding mix
    Cool Whip on top
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix first five ingredients.
    Pat into 2 pie tins or jelly roll pan.
    Spread it like pie dough with your fingers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Combine pineapple and sprinkle powdered pudding on top.
    Mix well and cook until it thickens.
    Pour into cooled crust and top with Cool Whip and nuts.
