Strawberry-Nut Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 small pkg. strawberry jello
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 1/2 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
1/2 c. bananas, chopped (optional)
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 to 1 c. pecans, chopped
1 to 2 c. sour cream
Preparation

Combine jello with boiling water, stirring until jello is dissolved.
Fold in strawberries with juice, nuts and pineapple. Put half of the mixture in mold or pan as first layer. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 1/2 hours.
Spread top with sour cream. Gently spoon rest of mixture over sour cream. Refrigerate until congealed.
