Shrimp Perlow - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 chopped onions
3 chopped toes garlic
1 c. chopped ham, bacon or salt meat
2 c. uncooked rice
oil if needed
1 chopped bell pepper
3 chopped ripe tomatoes or 1 can stewed
salt, pepper, thyme, Tabasco sauce and bay leaf
2 or 3 lb. small, shelled shrimp
Preparation

This is a rice dish unique to the coasts of South Carolina. It's like the Jambalaya of Louisiana; anything can be used to make it.
