Spanish Rice And Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce + 2 cans water
Preparation
    Saute cut up bacon in skillet until done.
    Remove from skillet and pour off about 1/2 of fat.
    Set bacon aside on paper towels to drain.
    Brown onion and green pepper in remaining fat.
    Add ground beef and salt and cook until browned.
    Bring 2 cups water to boil. Add 2 cups Minute rice.
    Stir, cover and remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
