1 c. persimmon pulp
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening or margarine
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat at medium speed on mixer the persimmon pulp, baking soda, sugar and margarine.
When well blended, add and continue mixing, the cloves, nutmeg, salt, cinnamon, egg, flour and nuts.
