Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lg. head lettuce, shredded
    1 small bag frozen sweet peas (garden peas)
    1 lg. Vidalia onion, finely chopped (green onion)
    1 lg. green pepper, finely chopped
    2 C mayonnaise (more or less per your taste) mixed with
    1 envelope of dry Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
    Grated cheese
    Bacon bits
Preparation
    Layer as listed in a large glass casserole dish. Prepare approximately 2 hours before serving. Keeps in refrigerator for several days. Serves 10-12.
