Aunt Syl'S Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    1 c. sliced cranberries
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cut in shortening.
    Add orange juice, egg and orange peel to flour mixture.
    Mix until just moistened.
    Fold in cranberries and nuts. Pour into 2 greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pans or one large loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
