Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. meal
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 chopped onion
1 egg
1 3/4 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Mix and drop by teaspoon in hot deep oil.
Will puff up and come to top when done.
May let these brown as much as you desire before taking them out of cooker.
